WCHS participated in the Elora Dominion Day parade on Saturday, July 1st. President Ron Hattle and Ev Robson rode in the rumble seat of the 1930 Model A Ford owned by Merv (driving) and Winnie Conley of Elora.

WCHS participated in the Centre Wellington Doors Open Even On June 17, 2017. We were located at the Rosedale Farm and spoke with visitors from as far away as Welland. Our booth was located in the historic barn overlooking the pasture housing the Belgium horses who were the models for the horses that were reproduced and are stabled in the Wellington County Museum barn.
This years winner of the David Beattie History Award is Sara Dix from Fergus. WCHS president Ron Hattle presented the award to the graduating student at the Centre Wellington District High School Graduation Ceremony, held on Thurs, June 29, 2017. As well as the cash award, Sara was also presented with this year’s History Journal – Vol. 30.
